It’s happened to most of us: you urgently need a blog post written and you need it as soon as possible. Whether you need a quick turnaround because you forgot what was on your editorial calendar or because there’s a hot news topic you want to capitalize on, Verblio (formerly BlogMutt) can usually get you the content you need—fast. Working close to a deadline is never an ideal situation, but we’ve got you covered.
How To Get A Post ASAP
If you need a post, like, yesterday, here’s what to do:
- Enter a one-time topic for the content as soon as you know you need it. Be sure to mention in the topic description that you need a fast turnaround on the post. If you have a specific deadline, mention it.
- Rate the topic as a “high priority.”
With steps one and two, your preferred writers will receive an automatic notification that you have entered a one-time topic. When the writers visit your Verblio page to check it out, they’ll see the high-priority rating and read your general description, telling them that the topic is urgent.
If it’s imperative that you receive a post and you want to make sure that it’s completed on time, you can take two steps further to ensure it gets to you by your deadline:
- Send us an email at support@verblio.com. Put “Post needed: urgent” as the subject. Send us a quick note, telling us exactly when you’ll purchase the post and what the topic is. Our support team will reach out to some specific writers and let them know when you need the post by.
- Hop on chat and let one of our agents know that you need it. Sending us an email is usually sufficient, but if it’s an extra-urgent situation, talk to a live person on chat. We’ll contact the writers and follow up with you by email.
Here’s what you can expect when you need a post ASAP:
We can usually do it, no problem! Can we write and deliver a post in one hour? Probably not. It’s best if we have notice of at least a few days, but if you need something by the end of the day, it’s usually doable.
If you let us know when you plan on buying the post, we’re more likely to get the writers to get the post written by your deadline. When you ask the writers to work quickly, it’s a nice courtesy if we can let them know when they can expect to be rewarded for that hard work.
Leave yourself time to request edits, or be willing to do some of the edits yourself. We can still get you the post you need, but if you’re really in a time crunch, be prepared to do a little editorial housekeeping before you publish.
We know that even if you have an ironclad editorial calendar, as the famous poem goes, “the best-laid schemes of mice and men often go askew.” If you need a post ASAP, we’ll do all we can to make it happen.
